One Year Ago Today

     It's been an entire year since Michael proposed 💕.  We were already planning our wedding and had a temple date, but seeing him down on one knee made it SO REAL. I was just in awe that the relationship I had hoped for was actually happening for such a long time. I felt like Elizabeth on the bridge with Mr. Darcy--after confusions, misunderstandings, and longing for each other--we were finally together.

     Every time I think about all the things that lead up to that moment, I am grateful that everything worked out. I really do see Heavenly Father's guiding hand in our story. It's a miracle how the stars aligned so I could have him by my side. 

      On a random note: One thing we were talking about last night was how the day after we got engaged, we went to the Christmas Devotional at Temple Square. That was just a year ago we were in a crowded building, planning a crowded wedding, and hoping to go on a crowded cruise.
